Is it even possible?
I didn't think it was until recently. I had to go to Orlando for work and the company paid Thomas to come with me. We coudln't pass up a few days in sunny Florida witih all expenses paid, so we packed our bags.
Our trip to Orlando was quick, we worked many hours and enjoyed spending time together, especially going to a restaurant and being able to eat without Aiden crawling under the table, catching crayons as they fly from one side of the table to the next, picking up the little salt and sugar packets a million times, and keeping the child from peeking over into the next booth.
We did have a nice time. But, it was on this trip that I discovered that men do have the capability to multi-task. This is a picture of Thomas doing just that.
Our bathroom had a nifty little swivel TV, and what would you know - he watched the basketball game, shaved and did his business all at the same time! I think this TV was his most favorite part of the whole trip.
Maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up too much. Perhaps as better term for this new-found skill is "selective" multi-tasking. But it's a start.

Seriously, we had such a good time together and I was so gald that Thomas was willing to come with and help me. I was also grateful to my parents, who came and watched Aiden so we could leave for a few days. But the ultimate best thing about leaving was coming home to Aiden. I missed that little guy, and there's nothing better than walking through the door and hearing little footsteps through the house and seeing a smiling face, open arms and then getting a great big hug.
